About the Role

We are seeking an organized, dependable Office Manager / Inside Sales Representative to keep our Columbus, Ohio office running smoothly while driving early-stage sales activity. This role is central to coordinating people, shipments, and client relationships, ensuring both daily operations and sales support are handled with excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to lead client conversations while managing hands-on office logistics. This is a non-commissioned position, allowing you to focus on quality of service rather than transactional pressure. This role has a rigid schedule of 9am-6pm EST, with a requirement to be in person, in the office during working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a physical presence in the office during regular business hours as the on-site point of contact.
  • Receive incoming shipments and process outbound shipments on demand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate heavily with the logistics team to guarantee excellent service and quality across all fulfillment activity.
  • Manage inventory intake, staging, and outbound handoffs.
  • Conduct preliminary sales calls to qualify leads and understand client needs.
  • Drive business development through outreach, follow-up, and relationship-building.
  • Write clear, accurate, and professional proposals for prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with technical and design staff to ensure proposals reflect scope and feasibility.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activity, pipeline status, and client communications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in office administration, inside sales, logistics coordination, or a related field, preferably in AV integration or technology.
  • Proficiency with CRM and office productivity tools such as HubSpot, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and shifting demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Professional phone presence and confidence leading client conversations.
  • Comfortable handling physical shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-directed.
